Photovoltaic systems surge protection panel.

Photovoltaic installations are used to transform solar radiation into electrical energy, which can be auto consumed or injected into the grid.
The ECO-DC panels for switching and protection in photovoltaic energy generation facilities, provide solutions for overcurrent and overvoltage in photovoltaic and other renewable energy facilities.
The models ECO-DC incorporate transient overvoltage protections with remote output contact in case of end of life, 1000 Vdc fuse holder and cut-off switch at the output. They are boxes where the different strings are unified in a single output + / -. The protectors that incorporate the ECO-DC have been developed to protect against discharges and surges produced by lightning strikes in the continuous part of such systems. The protection consists of three stages of varistors equipped with thermal switches that indicate through a window the failure of the element. It has a remote output (indication contact).
