The pressurized filtration equipment offers a compact way of cleaning for fluid not subjected to a previous sieve or for wastewater. Depending on the level of filtrate required, will be used more or less filtration ways conveniently distributed. Means such as green sand, activated carbon, and extra fine earth are commonly used.
Water is supplied to the filter through a valve to be later forced through a pressure applied to cross the various layers of filter media. The design of such media is performed so as attracting and compacting particles and impurities present in the water.
The filter is routinely recycled to remove all accumulations and regenerate the water. The valves of the affluent and effluent are controlled by pressure transmitters and control systems.
